Michelle is an established media practitioner.
She has developed a solid reputation as a leading media consultant within the travel and lifestyle sector following a career as a graded journalist and national media promotions specialist.
This multi award-winning writer has worked in newspapers across three States from regional to metro publications, including the former Daily Telegraph-Mirror in Sydney.
With a print media career spanning more than a decade, Michelle’s portfolio included politics, court, features and travel, with her coverage reaching audiences around the world.
In 2000, Michelle joined Tourism Tasmania as its national media promotions manager. Collaborating with her vast network of media contacts she generated more than $150 million in free publicity for the island.
Almost a decade later, she developed Tasmania’s first dedicated travel media consultancy, GrimaMedia. The agency produced writing and strategic public relations and media campaigns for clients including:
